Fully automated modern “State of Art Blood Centre” for the city of Mumbai was made operational on 25th Feb, 2009.
It is a 100% voluntary blood center, 100% blood components are prepared in this center, facility of mobile blood donation van, Bar code blood bags & safe blood supply are additional features of the blood centre.
Total 23,202 units of blood were collected & about 59,762 blood components are prepared in the year 2022.
